These are moulded sculptures of concrete, and they are part of an approach doomed to repetition. Otani reproduces the bottle, doubles it and translates it so as to transform it into a weird shape that draws heavily on displacement and disadjustment, so as to obtain resources of a unique resonance. Gas bottles become the center of an intense inquiry about their conditions of appearance.
