Jofo ceaselessly shoots people’s daily lives; his children, his travels, his workshop, the wedding of a friend, his dad’s birthday, trivial things… «Amateur video» people say. Hence the system is limited, sequences sometimes awkward. His video camera becomes a sub player. A still image that plays an unending time-lapse effect, a video camera in constant movement, a powered-up iMovie edit, music clip culture is never far away and Jofo takes delight in giving rhythm to his images with judiciously chosen pieces of music taken from his eclectic music library…
